Florida beaches are the best in the world!

Clearwater Beach

Here is the world famous Clearwater beach. This is where the tourists congregate for fun in the sun.
The beautiful beach is on the island called Anclote Key, just north of Clearwater beach. It is a state park and game presserve accessable only by boat. Notice how calm the waterline is. This is true of all of the beaches here on the west coast of Florida. You do not have to worry about the large waves crashing on the beach. It is a very safe environment for enjoying the water without having to fight the waves.
Howard beach, just north of Clearwater beach, is a short drive from this vacation home. This is a favorite with the locals because it is not as crowded as Clearwater beach. This gives you an idea of the white sands, blue water, and the palm trees that are found on many of the Florida beaches.
When you rent this home, we provide complete driving instructions to all of the local attractions including the beaches.
The above picture is of the wonderful community where this vacation home is located. The beach in the middle is the PRIVATE "members only" beach on the Gulf of Mexico that you have access to while staying in our vacation home. There are picnic tables on concrete slabs with shade roofs over them where you can "set up camp". These are close to the water so you can keep an eye on the kids while they are playing in the water. There are Bar-B-Q pits at each picnic table and there are showers and rest rooms at this nice beach also.
This is the north end of Anclote Key, the Florida State Park and game preserve. It is a beautiful island that you can visit using your boat or ours. It is about 3 miles from shore, so you are in sight of land at all times. There are Bald Eagle nests and Osprey (Fish Eagle) nests in the large trees on this island. The island is about 5 miles long, and on the South end there is an abandoned light house that is fun to explore.
